«Умные парковки» — это новое и современное решение, которое позволяет эффективно управлять городскими парковками. С помощью технологий интернета вещей (IoT) и мобильной связи, жители и посетители города могут легко и точно найти свободные парковочные места.
Муниципалитет Пафоса запускает проект по замене 7 000 уличных фонарей на светодиодные с «умными» лампами и установке 55 «умных» столбов в городе. Этот проект является еще одним шагом к созданию «умного города», который позволяет местным властям сэкономить полмиллиона евро.
Муниципалитет Пафоса создал свою собственную частную и автономную сеть LoRaWAN. Это позволит всем сенсорным устройствам в текущих и будущих проектах общаться друг с другом, обеспечивая реальную, ценную и прямую информацию для общественности.

The passenger public, both locals and visitors, who went to move easily and safely around the city centre as well as the Kato Pafos tourist area, are reminded of the ‘green’ circular routes provided free of charge on the first electric minibus, a Pafos municipality contribution to sustainable urban development and environmental protection.
A full redundancy and multi-level infrastructure centre, with data security systems and connected through fibre optics in order to ensure quality, uninterrupted operation of all services produced and carried through it.
The Centre hosts the Municipality’s computer systems, including geographical information (GIS), the residents bill payment system and the rest of the databases
Yet another essential step towards the transformation of Pafos into a smart, digital city. Addressing the signing of the relevant contract ceremony, the Pafos mayor stressed that GIS as an integral part of the city’s drive towards the smart, digital era, providing the possibility of mapping the urban area, as it will accurately record all infrastructures.
